David Beckham's father engaged to multimillionaire

Ted Beckham and his beloved woman, lawyer Hilary Meredith, who met last year, said they were going to get married.

'Although many more important things are happening in the world now, I want to share some personal news: we are engaged,' the chosen one of Beckham Sr. wrote on Twitter.

The couple's romance developed rapidly. Beckham Sr.'s new darling runs the law firm Hilary Meredith Solicitors and teaches law at Chester University.
