#ad @lilettarx For full Product Information and Patient Information for LILETTA® (levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system) 52 mg, see @liletta.pi.
I’m so excited to partner with the maker of LILETTAⓇ, an intrauterine system (IUS), as part of the ‘It’s Your Canvas’ campaign that celebrates all women as they decide how to fill their life canvas. For me, I want to leave my mark playing the game that I love, and I feel like I’m just getting started.
My husband and I are a team in everything we do, and that definitely goes for family planning as well - since any decision we make affects both of us. We are very career-oriented right now, and want to make sure we are ready before starting a family.
Talk to your healthcare provider to discuss pregnancy prevention options and ask if the IUS brand, LILETTA, may be right for you.
LILETTA® is a hormone-releasing intrauterine system (IUS) that prevents pregnancy for up to 6 years.
Do not use LILETTA if you are or may be pregnant, have a pelvic infection (eg, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) or endometritis), untreated genital infection, certain cancers, unexplained vaginal bleeding, fibroids, or short-term liver disease, get infections easily, or are allergic to its ingredients. Pregnancy with LILETTA is uncommon but can be life-threatening and result in loss of pregnancy or fertility. Life-threatening infections can occur after LILETTA is placed, so call your healthcare provider (HCP) immediately if you have severe pain or fever shortly after placement. PID or endometritis can also occur, so tell your HCP right away if you have long-lasting or heavy bleeding, unusual vaginal discharge, low abdominal pain, painful sex, chills, or fever. If LILETTA comes out, tell your HCP and use back-up birth control. LILETTA may attach to or go through the uterus and cause other problems. While on LILETTA, bleeding and spotting may increase in the first 3 to 6 months and remain irregular. Ovarian cysts may occur but usually disappear.
LILETTA does not protect against HIV or STDs.
LILETTA is available by prescription only.
It’s been 6 months since Breonna Taylor was murdered in her home and her killers have not been charged. Too often Black women who die from police violence are forgotten. Let’s stay loud, keep demanding justice for Breonna and her family, and SAY HER NAME. This tee was created by @phenomenal in partnership with the Breonna Taylor Foundation, to which all profits are donated.

Today is #Blackwomenequalpay Day. “This is the day until which Black women must work in order to earn the same as a white man’s salary at the end of 2019.”
It angers me to know that (us) black women are still severely devalued and underpaid. I wish i knew how to quickly fix this systemic issue, but for now I challenge and encourage all black women to self-advocate even more when negotiating contracts, salaries, sponsorships etc...i know i can do this better for myself as well. We can no longer let others dictate our worth. #blackwomencantwait
