Day 2 of @dpa_dance_promoters_assocation European championships at @wgbpl and wow, what a tough & busy competition that was. Deeply proud dance teacher & dance mum of Mila who was the only English girl to make under 8yrs single solo dances finals and even win under 8yrs Paso Doble! Wow …. Well this came by post this morning and I’m somewhat surprised & speechless.. I didn’t even know that @sooyogauk and I were nominated for these @smeawardsuk! It is absolutely amazing to reach the final among many strong Northamptonshire businesses and this is a testament to my & @bencohenrugby commitment to develop something innovative in wellbeing space in our hometown. Well done to us! ????I am also very grateful & humbled to be in the finals for Business person of the year & Business woman of the Year, thank you to everyone who’s nominated me. Back in 2019 when we started Soo Yoga I didn’t even know what it is like to be a small business owner, I had to learn so much, pivot and make choices according to my intuition, current economic situation but there was always a willingness to strive and make a difference for the local community. WEEKEND WINS! ????A very proud mummy & a dance teacher today! Absolutely buzzing after exams day with @ukadance & @conway_jackie at my @bespokeballroom academy today! I had 45 kids going through exams today and I couldn’t have done it without the support and help of my fantastic team - @dragoshepcal6 @g.geary @ndgeary68 & @caroline_arrowsmith. Thank you so much for your support and hard work with Mila and all of our students! It is really incredible that we had such amazing range of talent today from 5yrs to 18yrs doing exams.
