The actress was 60 years old. The star suffered a heart attack while flying. Carrie was admitted into intensive care during the holiday weekend.

Thousands of fans, admirers and friends shared the news about her condition on social media. Fisher has reprised her character in the coming-soon Star Wars: Episode VIII. Debbie Reynolds, a Hollywood icon and mother of the star, wrote on Twitter that her daughter’s condition was stable.
