What exactly was the reason for hospitalization is unknown, however, because of her health condition, Gaga canceled the concert in Rio De Janeiro. About the incident the singer wrote in her personal microblog, and sincerely apologized to the fans:
"Brazil, I feel devastated because I can not come with blow up Rio, I would have done anything for you, but now I have to take care of my body. I promise that I will return and speak before you. I'm sorry, and I really love you. "
