Ryan Reynolds is producing a film based on the famous novel

The future film is an adaptation of a novel about an idealistic doctor who is trying to cure a seriously ill patient and understand his mysterious diagnosis.

The author of the novel 'The Patient Who Nearly Drove Me Out of Medicine' is Jasper DeWitt, who first published this work on Reddit.

Reynolds participates in the project only as a producer. The XX Century Fox film company will work on the production of the film in conjunction with Vertigo Entertainment and New Regency.
