Amazon Studios will release a series based on Jessica's book, Open Book.
Memoirs of the 40-year-old singer have become a real bestseller. Jessica will executive produce the series.
According to Amazon Studios representatives:
"The feature-length documentary series should include vivid and intimate, previously unseen personal footage from the past decade, exploring the ups and downs of Simpson's life, including her singing career, her journey to sobriety, starting a family and growing a billion-dollar business."
