Kanye West couldn't release the album: what's the reason

The rapper held a live show in which he presented the new album.

Viewers saw not only a large-scale show but also the preparation for it. The only thing is that you still can't listen to the tracks on Apple Music.

Kanye West held the second presentation of the new album Donda at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The title was the name of the rapper's late mother. The album includes tracks featuring The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, and Jay-Z.

The latter recorded his part a few hours before the show started. Except when the show was over, viewers discovered that the album was still not available to listen to - only a pre-order was available.

The first presentation was on July 22, but it was a test show. The show was short, West played many tracks, not in total, and the album was not ready till the end. After that, the rapper postponed the release date. For two weeks, he lived in a locker room and recorded tracks in a makeshift studio. A day before the concert, a broadcast in Apple Music started, which showed the preparation. The artists had time to have a final rehearsal, finish writing the tracks, sleep, exercise, get a haircut, and try on costumes for the show. The audience was watching all this.
