Singer Pink got a pet from a shelter

Singer Pink and her husband Cary Hurst have adopted a puppy named Habanero Mountain Guy Kadashi Hart from The Labelle Foundation's Los Angeles shelter.

She announced on Twitter.

The singer posted a picture of the puppy with her children, daughter Willow, 9, and son Jameson, 4.

'Thank you to The Labelle Foundation for helping us rescue our newest family member, Habañero Mountain Guy Kadashi Hart,' the singer wrote.

She urged us to take animals from shelters instead of buying them.
